Ticktock Banneker's Clock Book Signing

     The Benjamin Banneker Foundation is pleased to welcome Shana Keller to the 2017 Colonial Market Fair on June 10 and 11 from 10:00 - 4:00 at the Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum. Ms. Keller is the author of Ticktock Banneker's Clock which was awarded Best STEM Book by the Children's Book Council. Her book encourages children to pursue their interests in math and science by telling the story of Benjamin Banneker. A self educated African American born in 1731, Banneker used his extraordinary aptitude for math and science to construct the first strike clock in America after viewing a simple pocket watch.  Ms. Keller will be promoting her book at the 2017 Colonial Market Fair. Visit the fair to speak with her and many other historical interpreters so that you to may be inspired to achieve greatness.
